The Committee's purpose is to facilitate the Technical Upgradation of Tile Industry in India. It is to address to the issues faced by the members of the Federation of All India Earthen Tile Manufactures and solve technological problems, facilitate mechanization and automation.
At the request of various state representatives at the Vijayawada AGM to the Federation to formation of a National Level Technical Committee to address to the issue of technical upgradation and research required by the tile manufactures in India, the Secretary Mr. V. S. Shanmugam approved and declared the Committee as formed.
The Secretary appointed Mr. Lakshmi Anand K of Sree Murugan Tile Works, TN as Chair of the committee. The first task assigned to the chair was to form the committee by selecting State Level Representative Members. The following members have agreed to join the team: Mr. Priyanth of Sri Srinivasa Tiles, Andrapradesh, Mr. Prasanth of Prasanth Tiles, Karnataka and Mr. K. C. Thomas of Kerala.
I thank you members for accepting to be part of the committee and accepting to work for the welfare of the Federation. The first task of the committee is to solve the issue of Kerosin comservation and Die Coating technology.
